De Lune Corp is delighted to announce a generous donation of 12,000 eggs to Following Francis as part of our flagship Sharing the Love initiative. Following Francis is a non-religious service organization dedicated to supporting those living on the margins of life, with a special focus on the Columbia Heights neighborhood in Washington, D.C.
Our donation to Following Francis supported their grocery project which currently distributes nutritious food items to 700 families in Columbia Heights every week. Families in Columbia Heights and nearby Washington, D.C. neighborhoods face high levels of food insecurity, particularly affecting Latino and African American families who may not qualify for government support programs. Following Francis' grocery project has been a vital lifeline, ensuring that fresh and wholesome groceries reach those who need it most.
Following Francis also provides diapers and clothing to make a positive impact on the lives of families in need and has even extended its reach to Ukrainian refugees, assembling pallets of donated food, medical supplies, and other essentials for shipment to Ukraine and Poland.
