Building a Future of Inclusivity and Empowerment in the Federal Government with MOSAIC

Updated: Jun 14

De Lune Corp was a proud sponsor of the MOSAIC Feds 2024 Unity Lunch held at the Silver Springs Civic Building in Silver Springs, Maryland on January 21, 2024. The in-person afternoon event was dedicated to fostering solidarity and support for American Muslims in the federal government.

Founded in 2015, the Muslim Federal Employee Association (MOSAIC) aims to both provide a support system for American Muslims serving in government and draw more American Muslims into public service. In keeping with its mission, the Unity Lunch featured a panel discussion with current and former Muslim federal employees on building resilience and solidarity within the Muslim Federal Employee community this year.

Panelists included Raheemah Abdulaleem, Esq., General Counsel and Special Assistant to the President at the Executive Office of the President, Office of Administration; Mohamed Abdel-Kader, Chief Innovation Officer and Executive Director of the USAID Innovation, Technology, and Research Hub; and Sara Minkara, Special Advisor on International Disability Rights at the State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor.

At De Lune Corp, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on society and our sponsorship of the MOSAIC Feds 2024 Unity Lunch aligns with our commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity. Our collaboration with MOSAIC also supports our cause of championing small businesses in the U.S., providing them a platform for learning, networking, and growth.
